Welcome to Melissa's world!
Or, at least, Melissa's web site. I can't believe it--I finally have a web site! I'm not really sure what to do with it, but here it is. |

Why Q?
My name is Melissa Kay, and I always had to explain to people what K stood for. It usually went something like this:
"What's your middle name?"
"Kay."
"No, not the initial, what's the name?"
"Kay."
"Okay, what does it stand for?"
"Kay! K-A-Y!"
"Oh, I see. You don't have to yell at me, I just asked a question!"
So, when I was a senior in high school, I started saying my middle initial was Q. It's my favorite letter, being the first letter of Queen, my favorite music group. And when people ask what it stands for, I ask what they think it stands for. It makes them wonder.
